The team for the bata is full, but you can still subscribe for the reservelist
The route of the Batavierenrace is 175 kilometers and contains 25 stages, of which are 16 men’s and 9 women’s stages. The night-shift, and official start of the race, kicks-off in Nijmegen at 22:30 hrs at the ‘Grote Markt’ (stage 1-9). Next, the morning-shift starts in Ulft at 06.30 a.m. (stage 10-17) and the day shift starts in Barchem at 11.00 a.m. The final stage is a combined men’s and women’s stage which starts at the Old Market in Enschede, and finishes at the campus of the University of Twente.
You can run different distances from 3.6 up to 10.5 km. You will run the stage together with another Roadrunner accompanying you by bike. Afterwards you will switch roles and after 2 stages there will be two new team members to run the next stages. We will transfer everyone with a small bus from stage to stage.
We will sleep in tents on the premises of the campus of the University of Twente. The morning and afternoon group are expected to travel to this location (i.e. by public transport) so that they can set up their own tents as well as those for the night group. The next day, the morning and afternoon group will travel to the restart locations by touring car.
Friday evening there is an opportunity to have a drink, however, the big party is on Saturday evening! Through out the weekend we will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and some soft drinks. Sunday morning we are expected to leave the campsite around 11.00 a.m., and then this wonderful weekend unfortunately already comes to an end.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
